Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values that a browser may send with requests to a website. localStorage keeps values in the browser without automatically attaching them to requests. This site’s preference controls use localStorage rather than a cookie.
What this code stores
The key teamtrovecottagecre.cookie-preference records either essential-only or accepted, depending on your choice. It is used only to show your saved preference. It does not contain your name, email, message or a unique visitor identifier, and the site’s script does not send it to a server.
The value persists in this browser for this site until you clear it, browser policies remove it or you use a private session that discards it. A choice does not automatically carry across browsers or devices.
Your browser choice
No optional cookie service is currently enabled by these controls. Accepting records a preference only; it does not activate tracking.
JavaScript is needed to read or save a preference here.
Other local tools
The contact composer does not save your fields in localStorage. Copying uses the clipboard, and downloading saves a text file only when you request it. Browser autofill and saved downloads are controlled separately by your browser and device.
Hosting and external websites
Server or security services may have separate operational behaviour not created by this static code. If additional services or consent controls are added to the deployed site, their storage must be described accurately before optional processing is enabled. External reference links lead to websites with their own cookie policies.
Changing or removing storage
You can use Clear choice above, delete this site’s data in browser settings or block local storage. If storage is blocked, the content remains readable, but the preference cannot be remembered. Clearing data from this browser does not delete downloaded files or emails you have sent.
